ECGI was founded in 1990 by Ray Roch'e with the idea that thru the use of energy and water conservation products and equipment, businesses and property owners both large and small could save themselves lots of money thru conservation as well as benefitting our Earths environment.

With that idea still in mind, ECGI has grown to include not only one of the largest offerings of water and energy conservation products, but also a construction company, and a Custom LED manufacturing facility. ECGI now has the ability to make LED's in any custom design, with rapid prototyping and development, as evidenced by ECGI winning the contract with TRI-MET (Portland, Oregons mass transit agency) to furnish its bus system with the new Oregon State Law mandated YIELD SIGNS.
